Jacen's remark earned him a nod of appreciation. No matter how composed Sam wanted to appear about his new sanctuary, he really couldn't help the glint of pride that crept it's way out whenever someone set foot inside for the first time. Second to the instruction that guaranteed safety on his home property, this was undoubtedly the best wish he'd come up with in all of the years that the bauble had decided to make an appearance. "I figured it was about time to start keeping my work away from home," Sam explained. He tipped his head to the side, gesturing back to the what was meant to be the meeting area. "I'm still trying to figure most of this place out. Happy to give the tour, but there's a good chance we'll both end up seeing something new in the process. Over here."
Sam showed Jacen over to a room directly opposite of the central staircase, leading to a larger table. Unlike the one that he had been using to examine his arsenal, this one was circular and much, much more massive. It was clearly intended to be used by multiple people. The table was surrounded with leather bound chairs which - as Sam could attest to - were definitely built for comfort. A monumental screen that Sam had been eager to break in painted the wall beyond the table. It was, for the time being, pitch black. There were a few notable arrangements scattered throughout the room beyond that (for example, a very old sword strung up in a decorative manner on the right wall), but it was the central arrangement that stood out the most.
"We should probably get this over with first," Sam suggested, turning to look back at Jacen once they were both inside. "I'm not exactly sure what might trigger another one of those flashes and I really don't want to find something around here that might kick one off."
He probably should have been more nervous about the person that he was asking to dig around in his head, but Sam found that he wasn't. Jacen had proved himself a long time ago. Others may have been wary of him, but Sam and Jacen had reached a mutual understanding of one another. He wasn't a concern. Whatever was going on in his head? That was what made Sam uncomfortable. He only hoped that Jacen could somehow find a way to stabilize it.
