Much was having a harder time settling in this around than before. He didn't know how he was meant to respond to the things he'd experienced when he showed up again in Lawrence and it seemed like very little of it mattered. Time was different there. Robin was alive again and his family was safe, and Much was grateful but confused. How was he supposed to respond? Of course he wanted him alive, that was the only thing he ever wished for back in Sherwood when he'd made his walk through the forest without his friend for the first time. That was all he thought about, and in the same regard he hadn't processed it properly.

He was acting strange. He knew it the way Robin looked at him with concern when he thought Much couldn't see. He did see, but he didn't know how to change it. He was trying to make small changes for now. Things like eating again, though he didn't eat nearly as much as he had before he was at least trying now. For their sake more than his own-he still wasn't officially all that hungry, but he didn't want to worry Robin and Marian more than he had.

Days had passed and Much wasn't ready to sign onto the internet often. He'd responded to a post from Lydia he'd been shown, but aside from that he was still struggling. Robin was spending time with him, that was a good start on helping him process things, but he really didn't have a clue how to move past it yet. He was not reaching out to people, he found himself often sitting alone. Right now was no different. He sat alone outside Marian and Robin's home just resting in the sun, enjoying its light.

Jane wasn't sure what to do or what to say. She had missed Much when he left but she didn't know what to really do now that he was back. Lydia was asking questions that she didn't know how to answer, even if her sister thought that she might be able to. Her thoughts were not sticking close to her at the moment, but tumbling around her head or flying free and unable to do catch up with them, to even try to be able to figure them out.

But she wanted to see for herself how he was doing and she'd always been welcomed at Marian and Robin's place. So she wasn't too surprised to find Much sitting outside, looking like he had before he left and yet not at the same time.

"Hello." It was a pitiful greeting but she wasn't too sure what else to say.

Much was in the same boat. He was being asked questions he didn't know how to answer. Literally though he didn't have the words to answer them with. His vocabulary on such things wasn't quite as large as most thanks to his lack of schooling and past. However he wasn't even sure if he did have the education to explain himself that he would actually want to.

He'd seen his best friend die, and hardly in a way he deserved. Not that Robin ever deserved death, but Much thought if he had it would have been in some big way. Of course, they had saved Nottingham so it was still pretty big, he didn't know. He just thought there might be something else to it.

A small voice thankfully interrupted him from his downward spiral and he looked up to see a familiar face. "Jane!" He couldn't help but smile warmly at her an stand. He had missed her a great deal. Of all of them save Robin of course-probably the most. He stood and immediately hugged her without warning.

She embraced him back just as quickly, letting the hug linger, just grateful to know that he was there and she could see him and touch him again. She'd known she'd missed him, but she hadn't realized just how much until that moment. And it seemed from his greeting that he had missed her as well.

"I am very happy that you remembered here." She didn't know how she would have coped if he hadn't. To have gotten Much back for him to not remember her would have been devastating. "I am sorry that you endured what you did at home though."

She didn't quite know the details, but she knew it wouldn't have been anything good. Not with Robin's eventual death and everything that went with it.

He had more than missed her. For a while the forest had seemed miserable without her presence. He wasn't sure what they were, if they were anything beyond friends but still it seemed almost dimmer. It was a feeling he'd recognized before, a similar feeling when he'd been forced to let Eve go. He held her for a moment longer than he probably needed to, but it was a comfort he'd missed greatly.

When he'd pulled back just slightly to look at her he couldn't help but smile. "It was.." He really had to think for a moment on the words. Difficult didn't even begin to describe it. "We nearly lost Nottingham."He didn't realize how attached to her he'd become. He cautiously reached out a hand again to touch her cheek almost affectionately. It was half affection and half for reassurance. He needed to know she was really there, the same went with Robin and the others he called friend.

And yet with them it was different. He was almost afraid to touch Robin still. It was harder with him than he'd imagined it ever could be and it was confusing. He was a little more hardened than when he left and it showed in his eyes. "I missed you most of all." of all his new world friends, she was the one he often thought of. "How could I forget?"

"The Seal doesn't seem to really have rhyme or reason for why people remember or don't here." But she was grateful that he had and grateful for the touch as well. She needed to know that he was real as well, not entirely sure he'd ever come back, that he was even really there now.

"Not too much has happened since you went away." Nothing of too much significance that she could think of. Maybe there had been but her mind was focused on the here and now. The rest of it could wait.

"But you did not lose it? You managed to hold onto it?" Because she knew how important that place was to him. To Robin. And because he'd lost Robin it would have meant even more to Much then. How could it not with Robin and Marian gone.

"I missed you quite a bit. It was rather lonely here without you."
