Who:Much and Jesse
What:A random encounter
When:Today
Where:Not far from Robin's Sherwood
Warnings:tba but likely none

Much thought about signing on to the internet, but his heart wasn't in it. He wasn't ready to face the masses just yet. He couldn't even come up with anything worth while to say anyway. Instead again he walked away. He did that a lot lately when it came to facing groups of people. Today was no different. He couldn't even face Sherwood itself, and ended up sitting just outside of it on a small park bench instead. At least today he was showered, he'd been fed, and he had a pair of new clothes that didn't smell like Sherwood forest. He looked much less like a hobo and far more like the Much that this city had become familiar with, but he didn't feel like that Much.

He didn't feel like much of anything at all. Robin was now alive, but he really didn't know how to process it or react to it. He was dead when Much had been forced to leave him. His last memory of the Forest was of Little John pulling him reluctantly away from his master and brothers body. He couldn't get that image out of his head if he tried, and damnit he tried. He buried his face in his hands as he sat there attempting to get ahold of his bearings again. Robin was alive, he had his son, and his godson, Marian was with him. He was alive, why didn't it sink in? Why did all this feel like some horrible dream he was just waiting to lose all over again? He rubbed his eyes and looked up at the sun, not paying a single ounce of attention to anything else around him.

"I'm not really sure what that translates to in modern days, but it was probably a lot the same, just that they maybe teach different things now than they did then." Jesse wasn't really sure, but she supposed it didn't matter much, either way. "That's okay," she smiled, "you're better at other things. Like cooking!" She grinned up at him. She had always loved the things he made and she thought she might ask him to teach her some, once he was settled back in properly again.

"I bet." she said, wrinkling her nose. "I don't think I could make it in your time." she admitted. "I think I'd just quit." she laughed a little. Of course, she could have made it if she had to, or if it had been all she'd known, but she was a girl of the modern era and if she was dropped in a time like his, she was quite sure she'd freak out.
