I mean...did he fully explain it, how messy it is, all that?" He flicked ashes on the ground. "And the guilt...that factored in, you know that now, right? Because of how tightly Expression is tied to your emotions."
He nodded, "So really, you didn't even start off in the right place to be playing with Expression in the first place." That wasn't the best bit of news to hear, but he was glad she was being honest. "Have you worked through that bit since? The guilt, I mean, are you still blaming yourself?"
