Peter's face set into a more serious expression as she spoke. He'd been so surprised to be home, that a few things hadn't occurred to him.

He nodded at her giving him the lead, again. Somehow managing to hold in the grin at her calling him Starlord.
"We should probably leave the graveyard, first. It's creepy." He was thankful it was night, at least. People might be less likely to notice that Gamora was green while it was dark.
Then, she got freaked out by a cat, and he couldn't help but chuckle. "It's just a cat, Gamora. People keep them as pets." He said moving over towards it, allowing it to sniff his hand and bolt if it so chose. It didn't, so he scritched it's head.
