She was still worried, but that was okay. He'd just have to take her to places like this more frequently, practice would make perfect and all that. She'd done so well though, and he wondered just what she would be capable of, a couple of decades, a century or two behind her and nothing would stop this woman from having whatever she set her mind to. "Oh I know, I know you'll see the world. I promised to show it to you didn't I, a world of new experiences, new challenges. You may not want it, but I do...you know that, and I want you with me. But there's time for that, there's time for all of that."
He knew she'd be his weakness, he'd accepted that but he supposed she could be a strength in her own way too.
Like, for example saying the things she did, whispering that she wanted him, she was a dammed tease and he loved every second of it. Without another word, for none were needed. Klaus led her through the dancing revelers, over to a dark corner like the one she was so fond of discussing and as she had asked pushed her back against the wall there, stepping in possessively, one hand on either side of her. Perhaps with anyone else it would seem controlling but not to her.
