Klaus solves family disputes with daggers ([info]humanitytorn) wrote in [info]wariscoming,
God she was intoxicating. And he was oh so proud of her. Of the fact she'd taken the chance. Listened to him, learned from him. She truly was wonderful. And when she kissed him, blood still on her lips it was all he could do not to drag her into a darkened corner. There would be time for that later of course.

For now there was still much to teach her, she was worried, even now, worried she couldn't stop. She'd had her one try, yes. One try that had gone well. "But you did stop. Many would not have. I had plans in place in case you couldn't overcome the blood but you did. I asked and you stopped. Next time focus on the heartbeat. Listen until it beats faster with fear, working harder to ensure blood flows, and then it will slow, just marginally. Its then you stop. Its then you walk away. And there will always be more blood."

She wanted to try again. Of course she did.

"Yes of course, you didn't think I'd insist we stop at one, did you? Go on, look around, find someone."
