AFTERMATH -- James and Maria
James grinned a bit at Maria's words. He had no doubt he'd have a post battle crash from the adrenaline but for now, like Maria, he'd go with it. He grinned a bit when she said cockiness was a bad guy's calling card. "I've faced down two big villains now and both thought they couldn't be beat." He looked down at his broken arm and cafefully adjusted it in his jacket. "Did you get hurt at all?" he asked, looking over at her.
He nodded in agreement at her words about getting the others out and leaving those they wanted in there. He followed along with her, starting to feel a bit of the throbbing in his arm. "You...don't think Clint...fell into the cage or died do you?" he asked, his voice worried. He knew that would devestate his mother. He hoped and prayed that Clint had stayed far from the cage and was okay.
