Re: AFTERMATH - Peter & Livvy
Olivia had done her part helping Florence and the others on supply runs. It was all she could do to keep herself together and busy enough not to fret and stress and worry too much. So many people were in this battle, very nearly every friend she had made, and it was unnerving to say the least. So, she did what she could and stayed busy to keep herself from agonizing over the millions of possible scenarios that would run through her mind. Of all those she had out there, though, the most important was Peter. The son she didn't get to see growing up, her son who never got the chance to know her and her husband. And she just hoped and begged and prayed that he would be all right.
Things had gone south at the Roadhouse as well, demons flanking the place and causing mass panic, only leaving destruction in their wake. She had managed to get out of the thick of it with only minor scrapes and bruises, but now in the wake of it all, she was at a loss of what to do. There was so much that would have to be done now, but it was all too overwhelming to even consider. So, instead, she grabbed a somehow unbroken bottle of whiskey from the bar and took a long swig of it before idly making her way outside to see what kind of destruction lay outside the walls she'd been in.
That was when she saw him standing against the sidewall of the Roadhouse, all manner of unsteady on his feet. "Oh, Peter," she breathed, rushing over to hug him as tightly as she could.
