Re: AFTERMATH - Kol/Crowley
The quietness in Kol's voice chilled Crowley, and he made himself look up at his vampire, finding a reserve of energy from fuck knew where as much as he wanted to collapse and sleep for a year.
"I will find a way, Kol, I swear it to you. This," he waved his hand vaguely around, showing the aftermath, the space where the Cage had been, the entire concept of what they had done and still needed to do. "This has never happened before, never been done, never even been thought about being done. We're working without any kind of rulebook here, darling."
Which was, frankly, terrifying. But also meant there was still hope, as much as a demon ever had that. Crowley reached out a hand for a moment, half a gesture about touching Kol before he hesitated and dropped it again, not sure how it would be taken. "I'll do everything I can, you know I will. I'll tear Hell apart if I have to." Even then he did fear that it might not be enough, a fear he very much did not say out loud to Kol.
