A sarcastic response was on the tip of her tongue but Regina lacked the energy to argue. Especially when the argument would undoubtedly be quite circular. Not to mention pointless. Though she lacked the energy to argue the fight within her was not completely gone. And his smirks were just something she could not ignore. "This window has heard it all. I have to do something when you fall asleep before me. Get rid of the excess energy I always have." Regina replied with a slight shrug of her shoulders. It was a lousy attempt at calling him old. Which was also quite a bit ridiculous considering she was older than him. An issue that they'd both just made the decision to ignore. She hardly looked her age, thanks to the dark curse, so why bother with it. But as far as she could recall making jabs at his own age had not been forbidden in their relationship. And if it had the odds were quite slim that she'd follow it for long. Regina Mills wasn't one to follow the rules for lengthy periods of time, if at all.
Regina wanted more than anything to move away from any further discussion of what was on her mind. Or what she may have confessed to the window in the middle of the night. And she knew just what to do to distract him. Slowly she began walking back to the bed, where House sat, loosening her robe until she was able to slip it off her shoulders. As the material fell to the floor Regina made sure to keep his eyes trained on her as she crawled across the bed. When she was close enough she reached over and grabbed his drink right from his hand before settling back against her own pillows. All at once she downed what was in the glass and then tossed him a playful smirk. "Two fully grown adults awake at this hour. Whatever shall we do?"
