Regina quite nearly growled her frustration at him waking up. She'd allowed her thoughts to get the better of her and she hadn't heard the rustling of the sheets or jingling of his pills. But when he spoke it had broken through her train of thoughts. Had made it just that much more difficult to not reveal what was on her mind. Her resolve, to only broach this topic after she had spoken to Katherine, was all ready tethering on the edge. With a very slight sigh she turned to face the bed where he sat. Her eyes quickly roaming over the parts of his body she could see. She truly didn't deserve the man before her but she sure as hell was glad he stuck around. Regina shook her head and nervously ran her fingers through her hair.
Deciding that she couldn't very well continue to ignore that he was in fact awake. And that the odds of him drifting back to sleep were not in her favor she gave a slight shrug before saying, "I'd beg to differ, dear, this window is the perfect therapist. It's silent and furthermore lacks the ability to spill my innermost secrets and desires."
And with that Regina immediately closed her mouth hoping that Greg did not force the issue. They often pushed the other into discussions they'd rather not have. She more than him. But for once she hoped he wouldn't pry. Prying would undoubtedly break her resolve. And quite frankly had the potential to scare him away. There was a small part of her conscience that often reminded her that he'd stuck around through all the hell that she'd put him through in Lawrence. Hadn't pitched much of a fit when she asked him to live in the house permanently and share a bedroom. House was not one for commitment but he was still there despite everything. So, there was always the chance he still would be. What it all came down to and why she needed Katherine's advice was that she Regina Mills, former Mayor of Storybrooke, the Evil Queen, was afraid. Afraid that this had potential to be the happy ending she had been seeking for a long time. "Go back to bed, Greg, you need your rest." Which she was being hypocritical because she too needed rest but Regina truly did not want to talk about any of this now.
