Elphaba was up early that morning. She was concerned about Elena, but so far things had gone well with her surgery. But it was more than just the surgery Elena had to deal with. She could tell the recent influx of people from Elena's world was difficult for her friend to handle, and she only hoped that eventually, things would be alright. Elphaba certainly did what she could without being accused of hovering, and Chistery tended to run around Elena, doing what he could for her. At least Chistery was helpful. His language skills were still touch and go as they always were, but he always meant well.
Having decided to go for a walk and get some coffee, Elphaba had cast the glamour spell on herself to change her skin to a normal color before she left the house. She'd gotten some coffee and was walking along when she swore she heard someone say Glinda. Stopping, Elphaba looked around, her gaze eventually resting on a blonde woman. And at the "green one" comment, Elphaba's mouth dropped open a bit. Was she being blamed for this? Because this wasn't her fault. Not this time.
"Going for the 'I'm not in Oz anymore' joke?" She asked as she approached the other woman. She wasn't entirely certain if this woman was a new arrival or not, but she was going to operate on the assumption she was. How she responded to her question would give her that answer more clearly. Though if the wicked witch accusations started, Elphaba was going to have to put the record straight. Again. It had been a while since Elphaba had played the welcoming committee to a new arrival. It obviously was her time to be so again, if this woman indeed was brought here by the Seal. Hopefully she was one of the nice ones and not one of the psychopaths. Elphaba didn't want to have to explain to Elena, or anyone else, if she'd come back home a bit worse for wear if this encounter went sour.
