Hearing William's tone, Lizzie looked up at him. It wasn't exactly the best of topics, and truth be told Lizzie had been so incredibly confused at what the hell had been going on given she'd shown up and Gigi didn't know who she was when she should have. Most of that time, Lizzie just went along with things because it was easier as she attempted to adjust to the situation. However, being confused at the general state of things weren't going to stop her from being a friend. The way William was staring at her was a bit...odd. She couldn't tell if it was because there was more he wanted to say or if there was something on her face. She gave him a gentle smile in response to his words. She would do the same again if she had to.
"Doing that shouldn't be too difficult. I somehow doubt the tests here would be any more difficult than the ones back home." That did settle it, she would have to go back to her apartment at the complex after this and look into whether or not Masters degrees were offered for Mass Communications at the university. If not, there was always online classes, though Lizzie would rather not do the online classes if she didn't have to. She preferred actually being in a classroom and having personal contact with the professors than doing it all through some impersonal computer.
"Sure," she responded, looking over the seating area. "There's a table over there by the window. If our sisters are somewhere close, it would give them something to look at?" Lizzie was fairly certain Gigi and Lydia were somewhere close, no doubt wanting to make sure neither of them left the ice cream shop too soon. Even if Lizzie felt a bit awkward, she wasn't at the running-out-the-door response. Besides, she did, at times, possess better manners than that.
