"Stark Industries. I hope it was a good first day?" If anything, this line of conversation was prompting Lizzie to find a job for herself. The only question was what did she want to do? She also needed to look more into the university and see if she could potentially finish attaining her Masters. Though that would mean she'd need to think up an entirely new project plan for that. She couldn't exactly get away with the plan she'd had back home.
Though when in the middle of an Apocalypse, how was one supposed to maintain a normal life? Clearly they could all die without warning if hellfire was reigned upon them. Still, that wasn't going to deter Lizzie from at least trying to maintain some semblance of her life here.
When Darcy checked his phone, Lizzie glanced towards the line of people getting ice cream momentarily. When he spoke again, she looked up at him, unable to stifle a little laugh. "I have to agree with that, and add on that my younger sister is also crazy. I think we should be afraid if they are teaming up like this." It was rather a frightening thought, and clearly it only meant that situations such as this would happen again down the line. Which sort of irked Lizzie, she didn't need people interfering in her life, she could run her own life very well, thank you very much. Well, that was debatable, but Lizzie certainly didn't need Lydia and Gigi setting her and William up.
"So, ice cream. Do you know what flavor you're getting yet?" Lizzie could get through this without opening her big mouth. Or so she hoped.
