Who: Ginger, Peter Vincent
What: Paying a little visit
Where: An alley somewhere in town
When: mid afternoon, Thursday June 13, 2013
Warnings: Peter’s foul mouth, violence, blood, crude sexual references
Status: Closed, Complete

Things had been so insane lately. Between being duped and lulled into a false sense of security by Jerry and all the things that happened since then.... Everything had just sort of snowballed and one thing led to another and now Peter and Regina were one of them and she may not have known the woman very well, but as far as Ginger was concerned, no one deserved that fate. People were so worried about everything, rightfully so, except it seemed like they were a bit too eager to end all of them in one go. And that wasn't so okay with her. If anyone touched Peter or killed Jerry by any means other than the St. Michael stake...

She shook her head as she made her way down the street, headed towards the club she'd inherited in Piffy's absence. She had to do a few interviews, needed a new manager because she needed more than one reliable person that she could pretty well count on. One of the girls she'd hired just...didn't seem to be taking the job seriously enough.

Ginger wasn't stupid. She kept herself in her apartment as often as possible, kept her "going out" times to daylight hours, and if she needed to be out during the night, she made sure she could have someone with her. That was why she'd scheduled her interviews for this afternoon, at least she was safe then. No chance of running into this band of vampires in daylight.

Ginger felt her heart racing, her eyes welling with tears as he started talking about them, about what they had. She missed it. Not like this, though. Never this. The way he talked, it made her cringe. The way he talked about her thinking it special, it made her stomach lurch. And for the first time since he'd dragged her into this alley, Ginger didn't have any words. No, instead she was being forced to allow memories she'd opted to ignore to be brought to the surface and mocked because she'd actually felt something for him. The real Peter. The human Peter.

A whimper escaped her when he punched the wall, just to the side of here her head was resting against the brick behind her. "I never tried to own, Peter. I can't help I felt something. It happens. I was barely legal to drink when you took to me." Not that her age was really an excuse. Surely it played a part, but it wasn't the only reason she fell for him. She couldn't entirely explain it exactly. "Of course I was jealous, I woke up in a new world to find my boyfriend had a boyfriend. It'd been months for you, but only minutes for me. It was too much at once."

She kept her eyes trained on him. She couldn't risk giving him any kind of advantage, no matter how small. Looking away? That was not an option.

The scrapes on his hand had already healed, but the wet blood lingered on the surface of his skin. He reached back up to stroke her cheek again, streaking red across her face, but not coming close enough to reach her lips. “You were jealous because you overestimated your place,” he corrected, voice calm and cold once more. “Your pathetic little feelings never warranted any kind of possession over any part of me.” His hand trailed back down over her throat to grip her shoulder, and he stood back from her a bit, still holding her in place against the wall. Couldn’t have her running away just yet. He wanted to make sure she understood her place. He’d agonized plenty over her, over his guilt and shame. She could handle taking on her own share of what had gone wrong with them.

...Or, maybe she couldn’t handle it. But that was her problem, and Peter’s pleasure to provide, really.

“Oh, oh, wait, I’ve got it,” he said, striking on an idea. “I know what I can do with you. How about first, I’ll take my time reminding you of how much you were worth to me. We can spread it out as long as it takes to sink in.” A slow deranged grin spread across his face as he watched her, eyes slipping back into black, blunt teeth and nails sharpening into monster's teeth and claws. “Once you’ve finally got that, I’ll tear your throat out. And then, I’ll fuck your corpse back into the dirt where it belongs. How's that sound?”

She wrinkled her face at the blood he streaked across her face. It was disgusting. But she was glad, so glad, he hadn't put it on her lips. She'd almost expected him to, the way he trailed across her cheek. The whole thing made her stomach turn again. She hated this. Every single thing about it. It was terrible. "I wasn't trying to own you, Peter, I never thought I did." She hated how whiny her voice sounded, so desaparate for him to believe her.

Ginger's eyes went wide, like a deer caught in headlights, when he declared he had 'it'. Whatever 'it' was? Ginger didn't want to know. She didn't want it. She didn't want to see it, hear it, deal with it. But he would force her. The tears she'd miraculously managed to keep from falling during all this spilled fast and hot across her cheeks now. There was some part of her, in the back of her mind, that wondered if this is what he really thought about her, twisted and darker because of the vampire, but still, were these not his own thoughts? "Just let me go," she begged, "Please...I don't want this. I don't want any of this."

"You wanted me to be yours though," he sneered. She had really been such a fool, since he'd known her. At one time, he'd found her brashness, her take-charge attitude, and her refusal to take any of his crap refreshing. It had been different and attractive, setting her apart from all the syrupy, far-too-eager-to-please showgirls who'd have done anything to catch his attention. But now, twisted as his emotions had become, he found the behavior presumptuous and possessive.

And then she was crying. Crying and begging and fuck that was just music to his ears. With deceptively gentle hands he smoothed her hair, tugging her clothes straight and neat, shushing her soothingly as he wiped the tears from her cheeks. Then he leaned in close again, looping one arm around her waist and pulling her up against him full length, the other hand sliding up to cradle her head. He looked her right in the eyes, smiled, and whispered. "I know you don't." Then he sank his teeth into her throat and bit down hard.
