She wasn't honestly sure what had brought her out here, she'd decided a run would do her no harm and now that she could actually walk in the sun she had been all over that. Actually getting to see sunsets, getting to feel the warm breeze on her skin again, it meant a lot to Lexi. And the forest was beautiful. Oh there were better forests in other parts of the world but this one was here. And walking through it was a wonderful reminder of the world she had been set apart from in many ways.
And as it turned out she hadn't been the only one to appreciate the forest. She watched a rock skim across the water and glanced over to see Much. The man from the middle ages was just sitting skimming rocks and looking more than a little despondant.
"Hey" she ventured simply, picking up a rock of her own and skimming it across the water. "I figure you'd find forests a bit more peaceful than most of us. I mostly just wanted a walk. But look, if I'm disturbing you I can keep on going?"
