He was quick. Kenzi hadn't expected for her fallen angel buddy to come popping out to the bar as speedily as he had, but here he was. Boosting her to her feet, armed and ready for some serious ass kicking, and willing to do whatever it took to save the poor bastard that was getting ripped to pieces on the other side of that door. Drunk as she was, Kenzi was determined to avoid being the reason that someone got killed. If she fell over or did something stupid, she'd distract Cas. If Cas got distracted, that person they were supposed to be helping would've never stood a chance. So, with a determined nod, Kenzi latched onto Castiel's shoulder, swayed roughly on the spot, and leaned into him for a long second as she tried to figure out how to pull off the whole standing thing.
Yep, standing. She could do this. She did it all the time! Standing was just keeping two feet on the ground and not...moving them. No, that was walking. Walking was...it was more complicated. "Okay," Kenzi said with a nod, "okay." Fortunately for her, Castiel seemed to have taken the reigns on the whole walking thing as well. When he declared that they were headed inside of the demon's torture chamber, Kenzi didn't think twice about keeping as steady a grip as she could manage onto Castiel's jacket. From that point onward, everything seemed to pour in at her in a dangerous blur. As soon as she stumbled in through the door behind Cas, the bright lights strung across the ceiling burned their way into her eyes, forcing her to drop her gaze to the floor with a wince just long enough to initially miss the details on exactly as to what they had burst into.
But then she looked up. And while Castiel was spewing out that exorcism that Kenzi had yet to fully absorb (beyond spiritus immundus, anyway) and flinging his holy water all over the place, a couple half hanging out the nearest bathroom stall in all their naked glory were in transition from sexy fun times mode to what the fuck, we're being attacked by a pair of drunken lunatics.
It was then that Kenzi realized that she may have made a teeny tiny mistake.
"Oh, shi -" She clamped a hand to her mouth. The scene that lay out before them only went from bad to worse. With Castiel chucking holy water at the pair, the floor and stall had become increasingly soaked. The couple trapped within began to slip and slide as they attempted to cover themselves up, one half shrieking in fury while the other drunkenly growled at that them. When one body lost it's balance and hit the floor, Kenzi knew that they needed to change their game plan. Hands still glued to Castiel's shoulder, Kenzi gave his jacket a tug and tried to pull him back. It probably wasn't a very successful attempt, as she could barely keep herself up, but Kenzi hoped it'd at least get his attention. "Uhhhhh, so I know you're a demon expert and total badass and everything, but unless you've suddenly become equipped for a bar fight with a very, very unhappy pair of peeps, we seriously gotta go."
And then she was either going to curl up in a ball and try to pry her eyes out or laugh herself to death. She remained undecided on the subject.
