Who:Much and Robin
What:Much finally shows off the tree house he's been working on.
When:Evening of Friday!
Where:Foresty area by the Kansas River.
Warnings:TBA but should only be rated F fuzzy and adorable hyperness.
In truth, Much would have rather spent the last two weeks in doors rather than freezing in the forest. This however he felt was something necessary too, something that could hep them both. He knew Robin was restless, he too felt it creep up every now and then. There were some days he was tense as though expecting an attack from the Sheriff, but none ever came. He wasn't sure if that left him disappointed or more restless than before. No, Much would have rather spent his time whittling or reading. Or maybe seeing Cas, but this was a little piece of home for them both.
The first time he'd laid eyes on the forest, he knew it would be important at some point in the near future. He wasn't sure when, but forests had always been a playground for them. Sherwood more specifically, but now they didn't have it. They lost all the things they'd built as children together in the forest to the seal. Much felt a need to rebuild. Reclaim something as theirs.
He hated climbing trees. That much was still true, but he'd come to tolerate it as an adult much better than he did as a child. He remembered when they were kids that the other servant boys used to tease him about his "adventures" in the trees and forests with Robin. He didn't care though, he loved him and no taunts or jokes would sway his dedication to his master. That hadn't changed now. This was his small way of showing him that even though he no longer had to call him master, he still wanted to call him friend.
As a child he remembered trees were one of the few things he protested to. And now he was climbing trees like a pro.
He waited for Robin a few yards away from the river as not to fall in. He didn't want to put a damper on his hard work by worrying Robin and falling into the water. He was wearing modern clothing which was weird enough in it's own right, modern clothes at the forest was doubly strange. His hand was wrapped from the previous nights injury, but his face was beaming with pride. He'd finished without falling off once, without breaking anything and having to start again due to general clumsyness. Sure it took him twice as long to complete by himself, but he knew it was going to be worth it.
