Anakin was done with emotion. At least that's what he thought. The others might not have taught him the technique that involved shutting down in the Force, but he was half way there on his own. Jacen and Tahiri hurt him more then they could imagine, more than he wanted to admit. He didn't know why he'd not seen it before, it seemed so obvious now. The way they acted together. Sith and Apprentice. Tahiri was no longer Tahiri to him. The talkative girl he knew who was raised by the sand people was gone. The girl who hated shoes was something else entirely. Anakin didn't want to see it. Feared it even.
He was able to do nothing for her. She claimed she made all her own decisions and Jacen was not to blame, but Anakin was not at that point. He blamed his brother. On top of that blame there was a new hatred forming. Hatred was a dangerous thing in the mind of a Jedi. Hatred could lead to the dark side and Anakin was desperately trying to cling to light. It seemed his entire family had lost their way, Anakin wanted very little to do with them anymore, and now the one person he did want had vanished. The one he could stand to be around had left under his guard. He stepped out only for a minute and she was gone.
He'd tried to get food and came back to an empty space. The hell he was going to sit about the medbay and wait for an idea of what to do. He had one. Use the Force, find her. Bring her back. Jacen could have the damn witch if she meant that much to him, the only one that mattered to Anakin was Elena. There was no room for failure. Now he knew how she'd felt when he sent her that stupid text. He would never make that mistake again.
One advantage to pushing emotion aside again was he was able to see her more clearly. The sound of running water touched the edge of his mind, and the warm color of wood with it. He was able to feel the Force more strongly, able to use it to guide him to exactly where he needed to go. Lightsaber gripped in his hand as he ran toward that damn bridge he saw. He skidded to a stop as he saw her standing on those rails.
"Stop! Just kriffing stop!" He stepped a foot onto the bridge and moved nearer.
