And if there was one thing Elena was good at? It was determining if someone was lying to her or not. Between the slight panic in his voice and the fact that he hadn't turned around, well, something was definitely up. She could leave it, go in search of Martha or go up to get Anatoly and Svetlana. Call them. This was their medbay, she just was there to visit. But the panic paused her. Because Elena could never give up on someone who needed help. She didn't recognize his voice, which meant he was new. And thus... trying to adjust.
The question was, just why was he panicking?
Perhaps it was her suicidal tendency to involve herself with people she probably shouldn't that overrode any sense of self preservation and not approaching someone who could be a danger, but either way, the brunette stepped forward, placing the two plates of cookies on the table before walking closer to Mick. And that was when she saw it. The blood bag. Okay. Vampire? Really, I find someone new in the medbay and they're a vampire...
Brushing the voice aside, Elena moved so that she could see Mick. And well, not a vampire she was used to but definitely a vampire.
".... please tell me that you're supposed to be here and Martha or Svetlana know about this. Because stealing supplies from the medbay? Not that good a way to make an impression. And they'd both find a way to do you harm, vampire or not. Though given the whole... hiding thing, I'm guessing not."
Most people would think the reaction would be to recoil, run. Yell out insults and profanities. But for Elena? It wasn't that big a deal. She dealt with vampires regularly. Sure, she could hate them, but most of her friends were vampires, at least back home. Her family. She was hunted for her blood, sacrificed... yet she didn't hold it against all vampires. Just Klaus.
