Without the baby in her arms, it was considerably easier for Emma to get up and she did. Because really, she should have turned around and walked out at the first strains of Twinkle Twinkle. She saw the struggle Lois was having and probably would've taken the time to enjoy the amusement at watching her do so but she wasn't going to let the poor girl flounder in front of these ridiculous busy body women. "Come on, princess," she told the baby, extracting her from Lois' arms. "We're going to go have fun big girl time." She grinned at Lois and nodded towards the lobby area, where she'd be able to dress her daughter for the cold air without the scolding, prying eyes of those wretched women.
When they reached the lobby, she gave an incredibly phony smile to the receptionist there before laying the baby on a bench and easing her into her coat and hat. "What the hell were you thinking!" she exclaimed and finally, blissfully, burst into giggles. Aislinn's pretty eyes widened at the sound and Emma just laughed more.
"There's my pretty girl," she said softly, holding the baby up for Lois to inspect. "Never try to get a newborn into clothing while holding them. Especially before you've had practice."
