Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Who: Annabeth and Percy
What: Annabeth disapproves of sudden, unexpected moves. And temporal shifts.
When: Sunday night
Where: Some dumb, dark street
Rating: Low
Status: Incomplete

One would think she'd get used to this kind of thing by now. All right. She could work with this. She was a) alive, b) in the middle of an empty road, c) somewhere warm, that was d) English speaking. Probably American too, she'd wager, just based on the architecture alone. Though the Christmas lights sparkling probably were a better indication. Annabeth hefted her backpack higher on her shoulder and spun in one slow, tight circle, gaze darting around the darkened street in search of anything unusual.

Other than the obvious.

She hadn't been standing here a few minutes ago, that's for sure. No portals. No angry clouds. No raging monsters. Overall, if she didn't know better, she'd say she just walked here herself. Except she did know better. Unusual or strange things always happened for a reason.

She just wasn't sure who to blame yet.
