It was a well known ploy of the two of them. Ask the question for the sake of asking, knowing that she could keep him out if she wanted. How many times had she gotten him out of her chambers before? And never with force. She could trick him out for all she needed to do. She had done so with Mordred after all.
"Yes, that's exactly what I mean."
At least he wasn't scoffing at the idea of magic being used for evil. He was at least being open to the possibility that magic could also be used for good. If he would ever believe that of hers, who knew, but at least he might not scoff at all magic. She knew though that he would want to get the verification from Lancelot, the knight was far too honorable and noble to lie. It was why he had left in the first place. He had proven himself to Arthur so he would be a good choice of someone to confirm her claims as the Merlin here wasn't their Merlin.
Hearing that he had no questions, Morgana nodded.
"I will be in my room then. Try not to break anything."
Because she had already broken the window in her room, there was no need for him to break things on the cusp of a crisis. That said, she turned and headed down the hall to her room, closing the door behind her and closing her eyes as she leaned against the door. The Seal really did have horrid timing.
