"The 'one god' religion or whatever it is that has been spreading." Pushing out magic, making it seem like evil. Morgana had grown up being told as much thanks to Uther, yet never had believed that. Not really. Especially after meeting Mordred. Being with the Druids as short a time as that was. Magic chose them, but it didn't make them evil. She had wanted to use her magic for good, and here she could. She knew she shouldn't be so dismissive and it was clearly a real threat here but she didn't know how else to describe it.
But then he was speaking of... someone named Morgause. She had read of her, versions of her. Apparently this woman was her half sister.
"I don't know who that is, Arthur. People come from different points of time even if they are from the same world."
Sighing in exhaustion, Morgana just crossed her arms.
"As much as I would adore verbally sparring with you, things are far more dangerous here than they are in Camelot and we should probably get you somewhere safe so you don't end up possessed within your first hour here."
True, she could be lying. After all, if she were from his future, she could have known to play that card. It was dangerous, people knowing to play the innocent card if they were here long enough to get people on their sides. To trick people they knew. But something was coming, something big. And as aggravating as the man before her was, Morgana would never just leave him in the cold, stranded. Not this her, at least. Who knew about her future.
