Ginger had planned on staying in her apartment after hearing the buzz about the Halloween party that was to happen that night. Steering clear seemed like the best option, given that was the sort of thing that was right up Peter's alley and his new boyfriend would be probably be there, nevermind his friends, some of whom she knew were already less than thrilled with her. Avoiding that hot mess waiting to happen was the best plan she had. Except Felicia had extended an invite and maybe a little socializing was what she needed. She'd managed to throw together an outfit with pieces in Rose's box of outfits for a costume and tried her hand at being social, despite all the reasons she had not to be at the moment.
A good part of Ginger's night was spent with a drink in hand and scoping out Peter's every move. When she saw Andrew, it called for another drink. Or two. She didn't care how drunk she got tonight. But then it happened. He came over and asked her for one last dance and there was no way she could have denied him, even if she wanted to. Between her own clingy beahvior at the moment and the look on his face, there was no denying him this one last thing. The dance was a slow one and the song was a painful one, but somehow she made it through the whole thing. But she didn't stick around long after that. She couldn't do it.
And that brought her to now, walking, drunk and in a skin-baring Princess Jasmine costume, in the rain. She had intended on going back to the complex, but she was still trying to get her bearings around town and she was drunk on top of it, all adding up to one very lost Latina. None of it mattered to Ginger, though. The rain didn't bother her and she couldn't care less about being lost. She'd find her way eventually. Or come across someone who could get her there.
One thing she hadn't expected was to find someone else wandering the rainy streets that night. She looked the fuzziest bit familiar, but Ginger didn't know her from Eve, so she couldn't be certain. "You were at the party, weren't you? What are you doing in the rain?"
