The fact that he didn't answer her question did not go unnoticed. In fact, it brought a deep frown cross her forehead and she made a note to ask again in a bit.

Her eyebrows shot up in silent question when he took off the necklace and looped it around her. The explanation came before the question could leave her mouth. She listened and waited patiently for him to finish before she picked up the amulet he was babbling about, studying it for a moment. And without missing a beat, or wavering in he slightest, she deadpanned at him. "But it's hideous."
