Rose grinned widely. "No one's seen the entire thing, Jules," she pointed out with a laugh. "I'm not even sure the Doctor has. You should still come by, though." Her eyes narrowed a little at the 'not-quite-Doctor' comment. "It's not really his choice," she pointed out. "It's not his TARDIS, really. It's Eleven's and he's not here so...it's kind of everyone's now." Her face darkened a bit. "And he doesn't get a say in whether or not my friends come over." She sounded like a rebellious teenager and she knew it but she was still somewhat irritated with Mr. Kind of a Clone.
The little shoes on her feet were cute. Really cute. And they actually weren't terribly uncomfortable. "Somehow I think running for your life from an alien species is a bit different than chasing down a bad guy." Her voice was teasing, though, as she pulled off the little boots and reached for a pair of wedges. Those she liked, those were easy to wear. For heels.
"It isn't really a date," Rose replied with a roll of her eyes. "It's Jack. I love him, but like the older brother I can legally flirt with." Oh, she'd wanted him at one point. Desperately. But even then they'd known it was always about her and the Doctor. Jack was welcome to flirt with them both, but that's where it ended. And the thought just broke her heart a little all over again. "He's fairly new around still and we hadn't really gotten a lot of one on one time. Not much more to it than that."
