Helena was so wrapped up in the emotional tidal wave that was washing over her that she almost didn't hear Claudia. She didn't respond right away, instead just reveling in holding her daughter, stroking her hair. Helena felt as though she could break right now, and she didn't exactly have the capacity to stop herself right now. After all, yes she'd made progress, but she hadn't anticipated having Christina there during this process. So really, that wound was being prodded at again, but it was a good sign that Helena was letting herself feel and wasn't shutting down.
Finally after a minute Helena pulled back from Christina, gently placing a kiss to the girl's cheek. She brushed some tears from her cheeks and sniffed a bit.
"I am not entirely sure who sent me, only that I am here for you, mummy." Christina explained.
"She says she doesn't know who sent her. Just that she's here for me." She didn't want to look away from Christina because the girl could disappear again at any moment, and Helena didn't want to miss a single moment if she could help it.
