She shook her head slowly as H.G. gestured towards the very empty space in front of her. This was killing Claudia to watch. How could she be sliding this far backwards, after all the progress forward she'd made?
"I...there's no one there, H.G.." she said softly, walking over to kneel down next to her. She wasn't good with these sorts of talks, but she was going to at least let the other woman know, if nothing else, she was there for her, even if she didn't have the words to make a difference.
