Who: Damon Salvatore and Enigma What: Meeting for coffee in the middle of the night Where: A random 25hr coffeehouse in Lawrence When: backdated - September 3rd in the wee hours of the morning Status: Incomplete
Damon hadn’t exactly turned a complete 180, but all things considered he was doing much better than he was just after the semtex incident. For one thing, he wasn’t ready to remove his lapis ring and stand in the sunlight, welcoming death. Instead of moping around the penthouse constantly he’d been slowly inching back towards the life he’d led before Elena had been sent back. He could thank Epiphany partially. She was one of his more lively friends. Now it seemed he was acquainting himself with someone else - A girl he’d met over the com named Enigma. Damon wasn’t about to pass up a chance to get out of his penthouse.
He pushed open the cafe’s glass door, the little silver bells attached to it giving a quiet jingle. There were a few twenty-four hour places in the city, but out of all of them Damon most liked the coffee at this one. The girls who usually had the late shift were a little surly, but Damon didn’t care too much about service. So long as no one was pissing in the coffee pot he supposed that things were alright.
Damon took a seat in a booth, sitting so that, from his position, he could watch as everyone came into the place. He did this even when he wasn’t expecting someone to join him. It brought a little comfort knowing who was inside. Should anyone who hated Damon show up, he would know to make a speedy exit.
