Considering the situation, Eric didn't know what was taking his progeny so long to find him, but he imagined she had her reasons. After all, it was the Apocalypse...complete with the devil and likely the four horse's asses whom he had yet to hear anything about, but...had to love the old classics. Truthfully, whether it was the end of days or not, Eric didn't much care. He'd lived for centuries and where one end of days occurred, another day always came. Plus or minus a few people, with a few being a guesstimate, but there you have it.
Still, he waited outside patiently, knowing Pam wasn't about to fail him. The time travel part was actually more interesting than the news of the devil. Previously, he hadn't though time travel to even be remotely possible, but then again, there he was. Whatever his progeny was going on about either hadn't happened yet or would never get the chance to. That was something he was going to make sure of. Then again...he couldn't say he wasn't interested to see what his graddaughter might be like. Considering the last time he'd even smelled her was when that fucking nutcase Franklin had been keeping her as a pet. How times had changed.
Then again, he wasn't sure he even wanted to stay in Podunk, Kansas. The air smelled terrible, which he figured was fitting, but...one would have thought the blood to be at least a bit more seasoned. He liked a healthy dose of fear every now and again, but it was always more fun to seduce than to force. Or so the American Vampire League wanted him to preach. Either way, he honestly didn't give a fuck.
