Prim really hadn't realized just how long she'd been sitting at the base of the tree, truth be told. She was just so lost in her thoughts. She hadn't moved in some time. She wasn't really feeling it anywhere, though. She was comfortable for the most part. She should have known that her not going home when she was expected to be there that Peeta would worry. At the moment she just wasn't thinking about it, though. She wasn't thinking of that sort of thing, her mind was stuck on so many other things.
Prim noticed the movement near her, but she didn't bother to move. Instead she waited on Peeta to reach her. Guilt automatically hit her upon hearing her name from him. She could tell that he was upset and she couldn't blame him. She should have been more considerate than she had been. Prim found herself looking at Peeta as he questioned her. "I'm sorry." She replied automatically. She didn't want him to be angry with her, and she hadn't wanted to worry him either. "I don't know...I just wasn't ready to go back to the complex yet, I guess. I didn't mean to make you worry."
Prim knew that saying she was sorry wasn't going to fix it all, though. Prim let her chin rest against her knees as she looked ahead of her. "Everyone is? I didn't mean to do that...." She said before looking over at the older boy. "I should have answered. I don't know what I was doing." Prim had a sudden thought that worried her, "Did you call Katniss? Is she mad?"
