Elphaba isn't the wicked witch you're looking for ([info]tothewesternsky) wrote in [info]wariscoming,
"I like immersing myself into new worlds of entertainment. When I was little, it was mostly to escape my life and find a better one somewhere else. The man that raised me was cruel to me, but my sister was the apple of his eye. So to me, books treated me better than the real world around me. But even as I originally thought of books as little more than an escape, now they are adventures and vessels of learning that I never tire of." The books she liked, she could read multiple times and not get tired of them.

At his question, she thought for some moments. "That's hard to answer, but I will have to say probably history. I also like reading historical fiction novels a lot. But history is always fascinating."

When Merlin said the word Fae, Elphaba was momentarily caught off-guard, though she didn't show it outwardly. Fiyero had called her Fae. But she had long since moved on from her feelings for Fiyero, so she didn't dwell on it. Instead, she focused on the rest of what Merlin had said. "I take it the Fae live in places such as forests or glades in places man does not normally travel in?"
