It was possibly a silly question since he was obviously interested in learning magic, and usually any thirst for learning was accompanied by a liking of reading. So even before she heard his response, Elphaba began walking them in the direction of the public library. It was a place she spent a lot of time at. She still had her days when she wanted nothing more than to be lost in a sea of books instead of being social.
It was exciting to meet Merlin, and she was intrigued to learn about his magic. Elphaba was glad that she'd both remembered and suggested the magic users meet. It would help a great deal for when large crises occurred here. They would all have a better idea of who could do what and so forth. And she was determined to ensure the meetings kept some sort of regular pattern because they all really did need to share their magic. In a world where anything could happen at any given time, it was best to have a team of magic users pooling their magic together to help aid in the fight.
