Who:Kon, Lois, and Clark (order?)
What: breakfast-Clark can even turn pancakes into a lecture.
When:This morning
Where:Clark's, then who knows.
Warnings:Clark lectures. A lot. Kon puppy faces. In genera it's not pretty.

Kon was usually more then willing to see Clark, but this time he was dreading it. Clark had done nothing but lecture since he'd returned and that was just on the internet. Thank whatever magic Merlin had used to fix his ipod, or Kon might have lost his sanity again. The hardest thing for the teen was to listen or see Clark type so disapprovingly at him. He knew he deserved it, but that didn't mean he had to like it. He took the long way, the human way to Clark's from Connor's. He walked. Something he only did when he wanted to avoid what was on the other end of said walk. He tried to play it as cool as possible but this was Clark. He wanted Clark's approval above all others, and right now he was pretty sure Clark would never praise him again.

He adjusted the headphones volume in his ears as he walked the hallways toward the apartment and looked at everything. His arms folded uncomfortably and the look of worry on his face was obvious no matter how much he tried to hide it. Lying was never a thing he was good at. Everyone who knew him knew that. He would however have to thank Merlin later on for fixing said ipod, he didn't have the cash since he blew most of it in Hawaii for another one and now it was working like a charm even though less than 24 hours ago he had crushed it to little tiny bits.

Clark's hallway was coming up on him fast, and Kon had to stop for a moment and try to get his bearings back. The mere idea of Clark looking at him with disappointment made the clone freeze up. It made him almost turn right back around and go to Connor's again and commence hiding under a blanket. His worst fear was Clark disowning him. Right about now it felt like things were headed that way, and again Kon found it difficut to breathe. He paused to do so and continued on to Clark's apartment, where for the first time since he knew the man he actually bothered to knock instead of just letting himself in.

Lois had woken up earlier than she had wanted to, especially after the lack of sleep over the past week, but after getting Kon to agree to breakfast the night before, she hadn’t wanted to be walking around Clark’s apartment in only a plaid shirt. It was one thing to do that to Clark, but the teenager didn’t need to be caught up in whatever battle of wills was currently happening between the two adults. So she’d woken up early and showered before changing back into her jeans from yesterday and snagging another shirt of Clark’s to wear until she went to get ready for their trip to the beach.

Currently she was flitting around the apartment, looking under and over everything as she searched for her tennis shoes. “I don’t know where I put my shoes. Have you seen my shoes?” she called out, not bothering to actually locate wherever Clark was. He did have super hearing. He should be able to hear her voice even if he was in the bathroom. “This is why shoe racks are important.” So Lois didn’t just drop her shoes in random places on the floor and then lose them under couches, beds, or other insane places. Once a pair had made it behind the fridge at the Talon.

The knock on the door caused Lois to pause in her search and she hurried over, figuring no one besides Kon would show up at Clark’s door that early in the morning.. Opening it she saw the downtrodden looking teen and offered him a bright smile. “It’s just breakfast, Kon,” Lois told him, taking hold of his arm to try and pull him into the apartment. “Smile. This isn’t your last meal before execution or anything.”
