He stared at Mara, trying to will her to move but he knew it would only be a wish. Mara's mind was far too honed for a Mind Trick and if he tried to move her with the Force she would no doubt counter it with ease. Hearing her words about protecting her, Galen tightened his jaw. "Here yes," he muttered darkly, his hand unconsciously pulling the saber off of his belt. His thumb remained away from the activation button in spite of that action.
Hearing that she wouldn't move though, he glared at her, his thumb moving to hover over the button. He could hear the sweet seductive song of the Dark side calling to him, urging him to just give in and strike Mara down before continuing on his way. This was, after all, to keep not only Gaia, but the others pulled here safe as well. What was the harm in killing the criminals?
Her next question threw him and he blinked some, the Dark side's call temporarily forgotten. He quickly hardened his face again but it would have been clear to a blind man that Mara had struck the nail on the head. "Please move Mara or I will make you," he said instead.
