So far her plan was working. Mara could sense that the longer she kept him here, the harder it was for him to keep a grip on that anger. But she was still remaining vigilant on the matter. When he explained about what Moriarty had held over Gaia, Mara was getting a better understanding of the situation. It certainly gave her a better perspective on why Gaia had been helping Moriarty. Not that Mara was the type to quickly judge someone unless they physically hurt or killed someone. She was not without compassion, even when she'd been on the Dark Side she was known for being compassionate in some circumstances. "You have protected her though, have you not? I have faith that no harm will come to her as long as she has you there to protect her." Even while Galen was still learning new Force abilities and techniques, Mara knew he was an exceptionally skilled fighter. He would be able to protect anyone he wished to with such skills.
Still, Mara was unwavering from her current place. She was not going to move, not going to let him see this through, not with the anger still bubbling within him. "I will not move." She responded, seeing his hand rest on his lightsaber. Mara's were still at her sides, making no move to draw her own weapons. No, she was waiting for Galen to make the first move. And she was not above smacking some sense into him if she had to, so while she wasn't moving to draw her weapons, Mara was preparing to call on the Force.
"There is more to your anger than just what Moriarty has done to Gaia, isn't there?" She finally decided to give voice to the question that had come to her mind when she'd heard the emotion in Galen's voice upon saying he wasn't going to lose Gaia. There was clearly some underlying cause to this that was more immediate than the events of a week before.
