When Bruce moved into her space, Helena placed her free hand on his shoulder. It felt so incredibly strange to her to do this when she wasn't dressed for the occasion. Well, not to Victorian standards anyway. She should be wearing a dress, not pants, but it was no matter. She moved to the music, doing her best to fall into the music's beat and Bruce's own movements.
There were signs that she was a little rusty in dancing, but she moved with grace and elegance. When Bruce mentioned the mathematical aspect, Helena merely lifted her brows quizzically.
"Interesting things, you say? What kinds of interesting things can happen?" She well knew what he was talking about, but still she feigned innocence in this matter mostly to see what his response would be. She continued moving to the music as the rustiness faded and she was moving more comfortably and confidently. The Victorian lady in her wasn't completely lost in this respect.
