Helena Wells has "disappeared" with the Astrolabe ([info]ismellapples) wrote in [info]wariscoming,
At the prospect of being introduced to some new gadget, Helena followed Bruce eagerly. She was always ready to invest her mind in something, especially at a time like this. She truly needed to grab onto things she could use to help pull herself up. Helena wasn't the type to wait for others to hold out a hand and help her up. She would start the process herself. Along the way, she just needed to remind herself to let others in to help her because this was not a feat she could complete on her own.

Listening to his explanation of what the schematics were for, she nodded in understanding. Her eyes scanned across the various parts laid out on the table as he explained how it worked. Taking note of each component, Helena glanced over the schematics, reading what was there, then looking to the parts again. Teleportation was not a concept she'd worked on before, but she would draw from things she knew. Perhaps they would ignite some form of new idea for Bruce to pursue.

"Teleportation is not exactly a concept I have dabbled in. However, the concept is very close to the concept of time travel, is it not? Though instead of moving someone through time, you are moving someone through space." Biting her bottom lip a bit in concentration, she looked over everything again. "What about taking that approach? Using something close to a flux capacitor, only gearing it towards traveling through space and not time?" Really, Helena had no clue if such a thing would actually work, she was just putting out the first idea that came into her mind.
