Bruce had been waiting for her, and as she had gotten closer, he had tracked he progress. His warehouse was quickly becoming more and more advanced as he genius for creating scientific advances while working with piecemeal equipment was rapidly showing it's head.
He was working in the lab when she arrived, and he spoke into the microphone when he saw her. "Come on in, oh lady of the sciences. The lab awaits!" And the door opened for her, closing after her, with a string of lights along the floor to show her the way. The path wended past an obstacle course, and a fighting mat area, a shooting range, and living quarters, until it led to the core of the warehouse, a three level lab. When the door hissed open to admit her, Bruce was there, still in alter!face and grinning a bit to see her. Quite a few things were whirring, beeping, and hissing, or bubbling.
"Greetings, oh fellow wanderer of science's myriad melancholy pathways. Tis a day for rejoicing when such a distinguished mind does come within these demesnes, and brings her intellect to assuage the grief of the sciences for her absence."
