For a second, Rikki looked confused. "You know..." she started, covering both of her ears lightly with slightly balled hands. "Headphones? Listen to music with them so no one else can hear?" It didn't really occur to her that someone wouldn't know what something as simple as a pair of headphones would be. "They make 'em to block sounds, too, to an extent, otherwise people like air traffic controllers would go deaf the first day at work or something," she finished.
Nodding, Rikki gave him a small smile and took the slip of paper. "An idiot would think that was an invitation," she joked, holding it up and waving it in her fingers a moment before pocketing it. "Thanks, Galen, I appreciate it. I'm in 804," she added. "I think I'm gonna stay in here a little longer, though. Closest thing to the ocean and all," she told him. "I'll see you 'round, yeah?"
