Rikki smiled back and shrugged. "It's fine. It was kind of funny, actually," she admitted. Then, she nodded. "Yep, that's it. Not too hard, except when it is," she said, this time it being her turn to look sheepish. "The thing is, it calls me. The moon. It makes me want to look. It makes me want to get wet so I'll turn into a mermaid. So...fair warning, it'll be a challenge. And...you probably won't get it right the first couple of times. Lewis didn't. So, then you'll just have to run some damage control."
It was only fair to be honest with the guy if he was going to be her new partner in crime on the full moons. Lewis always had his hands full on a full moon. Although, to be fair, he'd had three mermaids to rein in; Galen would only have one. So maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
"Ten seconds on the dot," she confirmed, nodding. She looked over as he waved his hand and the door opened and then looked back at him, impressed. "Well that's handy," she laughed. "Thanks," she added.
