"I'm Galen," he said. "And it may be weird to you but it's something you'll get use to here. We have vampires, superheroes, Jedi, witches, and demons running around here. Most of us look human all the time." He shrugged some. "And I say if you could do that, it'd be interesting but I'd not tell anyone unless you wanted me to." He leaned forward a little. "I'm good at keeping secrets Rikki. I was a secret my whole life, had to rely on stealth to survive."
He eased back. "I'm not going to go running to the papers and saying there's supernatural people here," he added, deciding to alleviate her fears that someone might sell her out to science. "I'd be one of the people they'd lock up. Or try to." He outstretched his hand and lifted two fingers, a small globe of water rising up and moved towards him. "We're all different here Rikki." He smiled some and let the water stream around his hand.
Extending his hand, he let it fall back into the pool. "You aren't the only one who's different."
