Who: Patty and NPC!demon minion types What: Fighting and kidnapping! When: Midafternoon Where: A street in Lawrence Warning: Violence, language, some blood possibly
For the first time in her life, Patty wasn't actually looking for trouble. She'd decided to take a walk to try and cool down. She was largely irrationally angry and wanted to hit something, but she figured she'd try the normal way of walking it off instead of plunging head-first into a group of demons. She knew Alex would lose it if she got hurt, though she knew nothing would stick very long. Unless it was a killing blow, but Patty trusted in her skills enough to be able to avoid getting killed. Her parents had taught both her and her brother well. Even though the war was over in their future, Damien and Prue weren't about to risk their children not knowing how to defend themselves on the occasion the Seal did something like this. And, well, it had.
As she walked along, Patty didn't notice she was being followed at first. She was too busy being caught up in her head. At least until she finally realized that little tingling sensation on the back of her neck. Once she realized that, she just kept walking, turning down a street she knew would be mostly empty. After all, she didn't want to fight in the middle of a busy area and risk other people being injured. While she was extremely impetuous, Patty knew not to run the risk of innocent people getting hurt. Once she was in an area where they could fight, she turned around to see three demons following her. Smirking, she let them get slightly closer before she lifted her hand to her lips and blew, causing a cloud to filter out, freezing anything it touched. Two of the demons dodged, but one's arm got caught by it, causing it to freeze solid.
"Oh you little bitch," he cursed at her.
"That's me!" Patty retorted with a smirk. The other two demons swung around, trying to flank Patty from both sides. Great, this would turn out well. Both of them charged at the same time. Patty managed to dodge one, spin around and ram her elbow into one's midsection. Luckily she'd been trained in hand-to-hand combat, not just in her magic. As much as she wanted to cast a spell, she didn't exactly have time to ramble off one of the limericks right now. The demon with the frozen arm was coming at her, swinging the frozen arm at her head. Which she just managed to duck and caused him to stumble and eventually fall. The ice added just enough weight to easily throw him off-balance.
"Is that really the best you can do? I thought you guys were better coordinated during the Apocalypse!" Patty taunted. And that was when one of the demons threw Patty into the wall of a building using telekinesis. Crying out a bit as she rammed shoulder-first into the cement, Patty sunk down to a knee. She lifted a hand to her shoulder, feeling out the bones. Okay, nothing broken. Yet. That was a good sign. "Fucking bitches, I'll send you back to Hell for that."
"You can certainly try," one of the demons replied. And then he threw Patty against another wall, this time hearing a satisfying crack as her other shoulder dislocated. Patty cried out, collapsing to her knees again and holding her dislocated arm. Clenching her teeth, she kept her eye on the three demons. As two of them closed in, she lifted her hand again and blew the cloud of ice at them, causing them to disperse again. This bought her enough time for her regeneration to kick in. There was a pop as her shoulder put itself back in place. Grunting with the sharp pain, she stood up again, taking note of where the demons were. She picked one and went after them as the pain in her shoulder gradually grew duller until it faded completely. This was definitely a time when she was grateful for her regeneration abilities.
But the demon she'd picked to go after was only keeping her distracted, which she realized too late. And that's when the demon with the frozen arm came up behind her and hit her across the back of her head with it. Grunting, Patty collapsed like a sack of potatoes to the ground, her vision going black, her body going limp. This was definitely not the way she'd planned this day to go. And it was only going to get better.
