He raised an eyebrow at Bruce's typical phrase. It really shouldn't have phased him, but it did a little. It struck him as an odd reaction and it bothered him. Was it going to show up later as some kind of repressed panic? Bruce didn't do panic as far as he knew, but they also hadn't exactly done the apocalypse either. It was new territory. One that included all their old favorites ontop of that. Jason Todd, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy to name a few. To only hear an I see from his former partner was defiantly unnerving.
He just sighed and rubbed the back of his neck with a nod. "Yeah. Generally it's the safest option on this world apparently. It's guarded against their demons using some kind of special warding magic. I'm not living there yet, but I'm fine where I am. Living out of a hotel on third street." He gave Bruce his room number incase something came up. "With the Joker around and me showing up in the middle I figured it was safer then me putting all those civilians in danger." He offered a shrug and looked down at the city.
"I've already scouted the city, I've yet to really introduce myself to the local color though." He paused again and looked at Bruce with a forced smile. "Didn't happen to bring Alfred along in your utility belt did you?" He joked feebly.
