It hadn't been hard to deduce that where ever he was, it was not Gotham. Hell, it wasn't even Metropolis. So where ever he was, it was a small city. He had passed by the college in driving his Batmobile Some sort of fire or demolition had affected one of the buildings. Probably lives lost if it wasn't planned by the school he thought in regards to the demolition scenario. Grappling up to the rooftops, he had begun a sweep of the city, looking for something, anything, that could be of use to figure out what Earth he was on.
Eventually, he landed on a corner of a building and stood, staring out at the small city. It was chilly. Too cold for spring or fall for Lawrence, Kansas. Had to be winter. At least his suit was helping to keep him warm. Even if the lower part of his face was cold. He didn't show it though. He'd endured worse on his training on becoming the Batman.
As his eyes scanned the city, he moved his hand to a small control panel on his belt and flipped through the lenses on his cowl that covered his eyes, trying to see if they could pick anything up that normal eyesight couldn't. The microphones in the ears on top of his cowl picked up the familiar tell tale footsteps of the first partner Batman had ever had. From the sound of it, he was an adult or close enough to be considered one. But the footsteps were the same, quiet as they were.
"Nightwing," he said in his usual gravelly Batman voice.
