"Oh, I'm sure one day, you'll get the kinks worked out and we'll go for a ride in your time machine, right?" She laughed softly. "In all honesty, though, it would be so amazing to do that."
"That's true," she nodded. "You don't usually know how strong you are until you don't have any other choice." She had seen evidence of that enough times by now she could swear by it.
"I don't think anyone could," She said honestly. "No, I...I'm glad you told me. It's not really...what I wanted to hear, or even what I expected, but...well, that's the thing about the Warehouse, right? You can't ever expect anything." Claudia knew that she would be okay in the end, once she had properly processed everything that H.G. had told her, but getting there might take a bit.
