"True." She nodded. "I can only imagine the weirdness that is crossing time like that." She would be lying if she said she wasn't interested and didn't want to know, but at the same time, she knew it probably wasn't all that she imagined. It might be more, and that might be more than she could even handle.
"She is," She agreed with a slow nod. "I think that's true for people a lot of times, you know? We kind of tend to underestimate ourselves, as a general rule, right?" She knew there were people that overestimated and were cocky as hell in their own abilities, but it seemed that this was a fairly reliable thing to say for the most part. Or at least in the people she knew.
"After what you've told me, I...don't even know if I want to know what comes next, back home." She shook her head. If she lost anyone else, she was pretty sure she'd never deal.
