"One hundred years sounds like a lot of time for things to change pretty magnificentally, actually." Claudia admitted. She truly could not put herself in H.G.'s shoes on that one, unless she used her time machine. Which was not here, and therefore impossible.
Claudia didn't even have to think about that before she gave her answer with a quick shake of her head, "No way, H.G., how could she be mad about that?" She shook her head again, "No, definitely not. Sad, because you're gone, definitely, but...not anything else." That, she was sure of. She couldn't help but smile a little at her comment about the boys. "Yeah, well, that's the thing about them, in the end, Pete and Artie are still the good guys, no matter what, and...if there's an alternative? You know they're going to want to find it."
There was a moment of silence between the two of them before Claudia spoke up again. "You know...as crazy as this place is and as much as I'm alreadying missing Pete, Myka, and Artie? I'd almost rather stay here than go back home." Because with H.G. being here after sacrificing herself to save the other three? That meant maybe, just maybe, one day the seal would dump Jinx here and she could pretend that none of that bad stuff she didn't want to think about, but apparently couldn't stop thinking about, ever happened.
